Hyundai Motor Company is accelerating the expansion of its high-performance N brand ecosystem in the U.S., moving beyond vehicle sales to target the higher-margin aftermarket with a new lineup of motorsports-inspired parts.
On April 20 local time, Hyundai’s U.S. unit said it has begun selling new N Performance Parts for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Hyundai Elantra N (sold as Avante N in Korea) through select dealerships.
The launch reflects a broader strategy to deepen engagement with North America’s performance-car enthusiasts by offering factory-engineered customization options. The company is aiming to create a “lock-in” effect by building a dedicated fan base around the N brand.
The new lineup focuses on both performance and visual differentiation. Exterior upgrades for the Elantra N include carbon-fiber rear wings, carbon side mirrors and 19-inch matte-black forged alloy wheels. Interior enhancements feature Alcantara steering wheels, shift knobs and boots for both manual and automatic transmissions, handbrake levers and center armrests.

Hyundai is also introducing shared accessories compatible with both models, including performance wheel nuts, branded floor mats, metal door-sill plates and exterior decals, enabling more detailed customization.
The components are engineered using Hyundai’s motorsports expertise and incorporate premium materials such as carbon fiber and Alcantara to enhance both driving feel and design quality.
“Hyundai’s new N Performance Parts were designed to meet the high expectations of N enthusiasts,” said Park Jun-woo, head of N Brand Management. “They deliver a motorsports-inspired experience for customers seeking greater performance and personalization, and the lineup will continue to expand throughout the year.”
The move aligns with Hyundai Motor Group’s broader investment push in North America. The company has committed $26 billion through 2028 to expand manufacturing and research capabilities, including facilities in Alabama and the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America in Georgia.
The expansion of N Performance Parts is expected to complement that investment, reinforcing Hyundai’s positioning as a performance-oriented brand while tapping into the growing aftermarket segment.
