Kyungdong Navien, a South Korean manufacturer of heating and energy systems, is stepping up its North American expansion by unveiling a new lineup of hybrid HVAC solutions at AHR Expo 2026, the region’s largest heating, ventilation and air-conditioning trade show.
The company said it will participate in the exhibition next month in Las Vegas, marking its 17th consecutive appearance at AHR Expo—the longest continuous run among South Korean HVAC manufacturers. The show, which draws more than 2,000 global exhibitors each year, is a key venue for introducing new climate and energy technologies to the U.S. market.
For Kyungdong Navien, the event signals a strategic shift beyond its core gas-based boilers and tankless water heaters. The company is repositioning itself as a provider of high-efficiency systems that integrate multiple energy sources, including gas and electricity, as electrification accelerates across North America.
At the exhibition, Kyungdong Navien will debut a redesigned booth featuring live demonstrations of HVAC, water-heating and water-treatment technologies. The central theme, “hybrid solutions,” reflects the company’s push to offer systems that can flexibly adapt to changing energy prices, carbon-reduction targets and regional policy requirements.
The company plans hands-on demonstrations and in-booth technical seminars highlighting four key technologies: a next-generation hybrid water-heating system under development, a commercial fire-tube boiler, an NWP heat-pump water heater and a WEC electric tankless water-treatment system.
The strategy comes as demand grows in the U.S. for HVAC solutions that can meet tighter emissions standards without sacrificing performance or reliability. Contractors and building owners are increasingly seeking systems capable of balancing electrification mandates with the realities of existing gas infrastructure.
“Kyungdong Navien has already established itself as a market leader in gas tankless water heaters and condensing boilers in North America,” said Kim Taek-hyun, president of the company’s U.S. subsidiary. “At this year’s AHR Expo, we aim to show how our hybrid HVAC, water-heating and water-treatment technologies can respond to a rapidly changing energy landscape.”
The company’s long-standing presence at AHR Expo underscores how Korean manufacturers are moving beyond niche roles in the U.S. HVAC market, positioning themselves as full-spectrum technology providers as energy systems undergo structural change.
