LG Electronics has once again clinched the highest rating in the U.S. hotel industry’s sustainability assessment program, marking its ’10th consecutive year’ of achieving the top honor. The company has reaffirmed its eco-friendly technological competitiveness and plans to further accelerate its global ‘Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)’ initiatives.

According to LG Electronics on the 24th, its hotel-dedicated TVs, digital signage, and monitor product lines all received the highest “Leader” rating in the ‘2025 MindClick Sustainability Assessment Program (MSAP)’. This marks the 10th straight year since 2016 that LG has earned the top distinction.

LG Electronics excelled across key categories, including carbon impact reduction, expansion of sustainable materials, reduction in packaging waste, responsible supply chain operations. The evaluation body, MindClick, selects companies based on detailed criteria such as contributions to hotel energy, water, and waste reduction, indoor air quality, hazardous substance minimization, recyclability, and compliance with child labor, environmental laws, and supply chain ethics. MindClick praised LG, stating, “LG continues to make meaningful progress in sustainability.”

The MSAP is an annual evaluation where major global hotel industry players assess the sustainability of electronics suppliers across the entire product lifecycle. Ratings are divided into three tiers: Starter, Achiever, and Leader. Originally launched as a Marriott International supplier assessment program, it expanded in 2023 to include other leading hotel brands such as Fairmont, Four Seasons, Hilton, and Hyatt.

An LG Electronics representative stated, “We are implementing ESG management even in the B2B display sector and actively responding to our clients’ sustainability demands. We will continue to provide products and services that lead global eco-friendly standards.”
