Paradise City, a South Korean luxury resort and entertainment complex located near Incheon International Airport, hosted the 2025 Mongolian Showcase in Ulaanbaatar on August 8, aiming to strengthen cultural and tourism exchanges between the two countries.
Several media outlets reported that the event, held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Mongolia’s capital, was organized to commemorate the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Mongolia. Paradise City said the showcase was designed to introduce the resort to the Mongolian market, expand its local network of partners, and lay the groundwork for long-term tourism cooperation.
The event drew more than 200 participants, including Paradise City executives, key MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) industry representatives, officials from the Korea Tourism Organization’s Mongolia office, Mongolian government figures, major travel agencies such as ET Consult and Location Line, and executives from local companies like Mandal Insurance and the Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia.
During the showcase, Paradise City highlighted its status as Northeast Asia’s first “art-tainment” resort—a premium destination combining art, culture, and entertainment. The company showcased its convention center and MICE-focused facilities, along with its convenient location near Incheon International Airport, as competitive advantages for attracting international events.
Paradise Co. CEO Choi Jong-hwan said the event was intended to “broaden cultural understanding and mutual trust between Korea and Mongolia through private-sector exchange,” adding that the resort would continue to promote responsible tourism, global partnerships, and social contributions while supporting the growth of both countries’ tourism industries.
