Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin, two leading actors in South Korea’s film and television industry, shared a hand-designed wedding invitation that is drawing attention for its personal, homemade style as the couple prepares for a private ceremony on December 20 in Seoul.
The invitation became public on the 27th when a stylist who has worked with Shin for many years posted the image on social media.
The card shows simple line drawings of a bride and groom, with Shin pictured in a tiara and dress and Kim in a bow tie. Printed below the sketches is the message, “You are invited to the wedding of Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a. Please join us.
12.20. 2025, 7 p.m.” A small credit notes that Shin created the illustration and Kim wrote the text, signaling that the couple produced the card themselves.
The reveal follows their formal announcement last week, when their agency said the pair had decided to marry after building a long-term relationship over the past decade.
Kim later shared a handwritten message with fans, saying he hoped their support would carry into the next chapter of his life with Shin.
The two met in 2014 while filming a commercial and confirmed their relationship later that year. They remained together through Kim’s hiatus in 2017, when he stepped back from acting after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer.
Shin stayed with him throughout his treatment until his full recovery in 2019, and Kim later joined her agency in 2020.
Their wedding will take place at The Shilla Seoul with only family members and close acquaintances invited.
