BTS will return to the global stage in April with its largest world tour to date, marking the group’s first full-scale tour in nearly four years and setting a new benchmark in K-pop concert history.

The South Korean supergroup announced the tour early Friday through a poster released on Weverse, its official fan platform. Titled BTS World Tour, the trek will span 34 cities with 79 scheduled performances, making it the most extensive single tour ever undertaken by a K-pop act. Additional dates in Japan and the Middle East are expected to be announced later.

The tour opens April 9 with a three-night run at Goyang Stadium, followed by a June stop in Busan. The June 13 concert holds particular significance, coinciding with the group’s debut anniversary and expected to serve as a commemorative event with fans.

The North American leg begins April 25 in Tampa and includes 28 shows across 12 cities. BTS will make history with first-ever K-pop concerts at venues such as Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. The group will also become only the second artist, after Coldplay, to perform at Stanford Stadium.

Additional U.S. stops include AT&T Stadium in Arlington—one of the world’s largest domed venues—and M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, both of which BTS will headline as the first Korean act to do so.

From June through July, the tour continues in Europe with 10 shows across five cities, including London and Paris. The group will hold its first standalone concerts in Madrid and Brussels. South American dates include São Paulo and Buenos Aires, further underscoring BTS’s reach beyond traditional K-pop markets.

The production is designed to match the tour’s scale. Organizers confirmed the use of a 360-degree stage configuration intended to deliver a fully immersive experience for audiences throughout each venue.

The tour follows the release of BTS’s fifth full-length studio album, scheduled for March 20. The album will feature 14 tracks and marks the group’s first full-member studio release in approximately three years and nine months.

With this announcement, BTS signals not merely a return to touring, but a strategic escalation—reasserting its position as one of the most commercially powerful live acts in global music.
